All FAQs

MARN stands for Migration Agents Registration Number. Only registered migration agents may lawfully give immigration assistance in Australia for a fee. Registered agents are bound by a Code of Conduct, must hold professional indemnity insurance, and must complete continuing professional development each year. AusWide Immigration operates under MARN 2619475, and you can verify that number yourself on the Office of the MARA public register.

No. We are a registered migration agency, not a law practice, and we do not provide legal advice. Registered migration agents are authorised to provide immigration assistance, including preparing and lodging visa applications and representing clients at the Administrative Review Tribunal. If a matter requires legal advice or court proceedings, we will tell you and help you find appropriate assistance.

Yes. We are based in Punchbowl, NSW, and we welcome clients in person. We also work remotely with clients across Australia, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional areas, and with clients who are currently overseas. Consultations are conducted by video or phone, and documents are exchanged securely.

Our professional fees depend on the visa type and the complexity of your circumstances, and they are separate from the Department of Home Affairs application charges, skills assessment fees, English test fees and medical costs. We give you a written quote before any work begins so you know exactly what you are committing to. There is no obligation after an initial consultation.

We go through your situation properly: your qualifications, work history, family circumstances, current visa and travel history. We then explain which pathways are realistically available to you, what each one requires, and roughly how long each is likely to take. You leave with a clear picture of your position. If we do not think we can help, we will say so.
