Ask usAbout Us
MARN stands for Migration Agents Registration Number. Only registered migration agents may lawfully give immigration assistance in Australia for a fee. Registered agents are bound by a Code of Conduct, must hold professional indemnity insurance, and must complete continuing professional development each year. AusWide Immigration operates under MARN 2619475, and you can verify that number yourself on the Office of the MARA public register.
No. We are a registered migration agency, not a law practice, and we do not provide legal advice. Registered migration agents are authorised to provide immigration assistance, including preparing and lodging visa applications and representing clients at the Administrative Review Tribunal. If a matter requires legal advice or court proceedings, we will tell you and help you find appropriate assistance.
Yes. We are based in Punchbowl, NSW, and we welcome clients in person. We also work remotely with clients across Australia, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional areas, and with clients who are currently overseas. Consultations are conducted by video or phone, and documents are exchanged securely.
Applications
Not necessarily, but time is critical. Most refusal and cancellation decisions carry a review right with a short, strictly enforced deadline that cannot be extended. The first step is establishing whether a review right exists in your case and exactly when it expires. Please contact us as soon as possible rather than waiting.
Most skilled visas require a positive skills assessment from the assessing authority for your nominated occupation, obtained before you are invited to apply. Which authority applies depends on your occupation. Employer-sponsored pathways sometimes have different requirements. We will confirm what applies in your case before you spend anything on it.
In most cases yes. Eligible partners and dependent children can usually be included as secondary applicants, though the requirements and additional charges vary by visa. It is generally simpler and cheaper to include family members at the time of lodgement than to add them later, so tell us about everyone in your household during the first consultation.
It depends entirely on the visa, but almost every application needs identity documents, passports and travel history, evidence of your qualifications and employment, English test results where required, and police and health checks. Partner and family applications additionally require substantial relationship evidence. We give you a personalised checklist so you are not guessing.
It depends on your current visa or bridging visa and the conditions attached to it. Work rights are not automatic on every bridging visa. A Bridging Visa C, for example, generally carries no work rights unless they have been separately applied for and granted. Check your grant notice, and ask us before you start any work if you are unsure.
Fees & Process
Our professional fees depend on the visa type and the complexity of your circumstances, and they are separate from the Department of Home Affairs application charges, skills assessment fees, English test fees and medical costs. We give you a written quote before any work begins so you know exactly what you are committing to. There is no obligation after an initial consultation.
We go through your situation properly: your qualifications, work history, family circumstances, current visa and travel history. We then explain which pathways are realistically available to you, what each one requires, and roughly how long each is likely to take. You leave with a clear picture of your position. If we do not think we can help, we will say so.
No, and neither can anyone else. Visa decisions are made by delegates of the Minister applying the law to the evidence before them. What we can do is assess your eligibility honestly, prepare your application thoroughly, and make sure it presents your circumstances as completely and accurately as possible. Any agent who guarantees an outcome is not being truthful with you.
Processing times vary considerably by visa type, by stream, and by individual circumstances, and the Department publishes indicative global processing times that change month to month. We will tell you the current published guidance for your visa and flag anything about your case that may affect it. We cannot influence processing speed, and we will not pretend otherwise.
